First Son Of Dansili For Australia

Thursday, 12 August 2010: Danehill's son Dansili is one of the hottest stallions in Europe this year with his offspring including record breaking performer Harbinger, US triple G1 winner Proviso and boom two year-old colt Zoffany.

Champions Gallery, a three time winner in the UK before transferring to Hong Kong where he won at Sha Tin and finished third in the HK Derby, will stand at Kilto Park in Queensland.

Champions Gallery suffered a tendon injury after the HK Derby and was sent to Australia for rehabilitation before he went back into work with Tony Vasil.

He was retired after suffering a recurrence of his tendon injury.

He is owned in the same interests as Lucky Owners, another former Hong Kong star who stands at Widden Stud in NSW.

A winner at two over seven furlongs, Champions Gallery was effective up to a mile and a quarter.

Champions Gallery has a female family packed with outcross European bloodlines, his unraced dam Pure being a full sister by English Derby winner Slip Anchor to champion filly and five-time G1 winner User Friendly.

Dansili stands at a fee of 65,000 pounds at Banstead Manor in the UK and is the sire of 42 stakes-winners, seven of them G1 winners.

Champions Gallery will stand at a fee of $2500 plus GST alongside Ombra Della Sera.
