Whobegotyou In The Red For Derby

Saturday, 25 October 2008: The Mark Kavanagh trained son of Street Cry is now into $1.75 for the Derby with Betstar. He was $2.20 prior to today's win.

Norman Robinson Stakes winner Pre Eminence is the second favourite at $7 ahead of Larry's Never Late at $8.

Buffet, who ran second to Whobegotyou today, has firmed from $51 to $17 for the Derby.

Carnero drifted from $10 to $17 after disappointing in the AAMI Vase.

Betstar racing manager Michael Horne says the Derby should be at Whobegotyou's mercy.

“Why bother with a market,” Horne said. “How will they beat the favourite?”
