Maldivian, who was a short priced favourite for last year's Caulfield Cup before being sensationally scratched at the gates, has been struggling to recapture the form this year.

But the Mark Kavanagh trained gelding, sporting some gear changes this Saturday, has been specked with some doubles, one to win both the Caulfield Cup and Cox Plate to the tune of $400,000 at odds of just over $168.

Another was for Maldivain to win the Caulfield Cup and Efficient to win the Melbourne Cup at odds of $110 returning $330,000.

TAB Sportsbet has also reported continued money for Weekend Hussler, tightening further to $4.60 after $6.00 was offered yesterday morning.
