Racing Victoria's chief handicapper Greg Carpenter today issued the following Dolphin Jo's win over The Wolverine and Cefalu at Caulfield last Saturday.

Dolphin Jo is to start in Saturday's $2.5 million Caulfield Cup but could not be penalised for that race.

His penalty takes the Terry and Karina O'Sullivan-trained six-year-old's weight to 52kg in the Melbourne Cup and lifts him from 33rd to 30th in the elimination order.

"Dolphin Jo ran fifth in the race last year with 51.5kg and the penalty acknowledges his fighting win in the Winning Edge and places him in a strong position to make the Cup field again in 2008," Carpenter said.

Carpenter declined to penalise Sunday's Cranbourne Cup winner Majestical for the Caulfield Cup.

Majestical beat Barbaricus and Chantal Sally in the Cranbourne Cup but with 50kg remains equal 32nd on the Caulfield Cup order of entry with little chnace of gaining a start.

Majestical is not entered for the Melbourne Cup.

Final declarations for the Caulfield Cup close at 10am tomorrow.
