Beadman submitted a medical certificate as proof of his fitness to Hong Kong Jockey Club stewards on Wednesday, stating he had recovered from the injuries he suffered in a mounting yard incident at Sha Tin on October 12.

Beadman injured vetrbra in his lower back when he landed on his tailbone after he was thrown from the unraced horse Johnson during a pre-race parade.

Beadman spent three days in hospital but has made a rapid recovery and is expected to begin riding trackwork on Thursday.

He has been cleared by stewards to accept mounts at Sha Tin this weekend.

Beadman was set to ride Tuesday Joy at the Melbourne spring carnival before she suffered a bleeding attack during a track gallop and had to b spelled.

However his early return to the saddle raises the possibility that he may be offered rides during Melbourne Cup week at Flemington.
