WYONG: Classy 3YO Entries For Magic Millions Stakes
Wednesday, 20 February 2008:  | | Superfly | Hayes has supplied three of the 19 nominations for the $100,000 Magic Millions Stakes (1300m) for three-year-olds.
Hayes has nominated last year's Widden Stakes winner Superfly, Flemington winner Lord Monty and the well performed maiden galloper Distinctive Lass.
Gai Waterhouse, Graeme Rogerson and John O'Shea have nominated two horses each for the Magic Millions Stakes.
Rogerson's entries are Gosford Guineas winner Cent Per Cent and the classy colt Arlington.
Waterhouse has nominated Keiki, which won the Champagne Classic at Doomben last year, and Kyros.
Jack Denham has one entry, the high class filly Isurava, winner of the Australia Post at Eagle Farm last June and second to Cent Per Cent on the havy track in last week's Gosford Guineas.
The Waterhouse trained Amelia's Dream is one of four additional nominations for the feature $200,000 Magic Milliosn SLipper for two year olds.
The other three additional nominations, taking the total number entered for the race to 12, are the Bede Murray trained Coniston Blue Bird; Geared Up from the Joseph Pride stable and the Graeme Rogerson trained Strato Cruiser.
Amelia's Dream, also entered for Canterbury on Saturday, scored an impressive barrier trial win at Rosehill on February 12.
Waterhouse has also nominated unbeaten filly She's Meaner for the Slipper.
The additional four nominations effectively gives Wyong the possibility of a field of 11 runners.
Melbourne trained Chilean Miss has been ruled out after gaining a start in the Blue Diamond at Caulfield.
The unraced Stratocruiser joins stable mate Bentley Man to give Rogerson the possibility of two runners in the race.
This New Zealand bred son of Zabeel has trialled twice for a second at Randwick and a win at Rosehill, beating Geared Up.
Rogerson has won the Wyong Slipper twice with Not A Single Doubt and Illuminates.
