Victoria Mile at Fuchu Sunday

Sunday, 14 May 2017: It's for fillies and mares and the market is headed by Mikki Queen on 2.2 going for a third G1. Hamanaka-san has the ride and she's drawn gate 11, which is neither that good or that bad. She has finishing speed so if she doesn't cross early she will be parked somewhere where she can show her dash.

Let's Go Donki is on 6.9 - we love her dearly and Iwata-san rides and they will exit gate 14. Rouge Buck may prefer it a bit longer - she's on 7.8 with Tosaki-san riding and they have gate 7. We may go with Smart Layer on 8.9, who is well drawn in 2, was 4th in this last year and has Take-san riding. She's a Deep Impact out of a White Muzzle mare and White Muzzle was one of our favourites. Queen's Ring has drawn next to Rouge Buck in gate 8 - she has a G1 to her name and will have Mirco Demuro on board and 9.3 seems a reasonable quote.
