Strangles not stopping Singapore

Strangles is a nasty condition for horses but generally is not fatal but is highly contagious. Humans are
not affected by this virus.

One horse of Brian Dean's was confirmed positive after two were tested, and his stable as well as the
stables of Alvin Tan and Mok Zhan Lun which were near the stables where the infected horse was housed
have been put into Quarantine according to the Singapore Turf Club.

Racing will go ahead tonight at Kranji with two C Stakes races - the first of which is Race 5 over 2200m.
Stablemates Maurice Utrillo and French Irish look well set here and we'll add Kanegura for third pick.

Race 8 is over 1200m and looks interesting: Michael Freedman saddles Choisism (by Choisir) and
Grecian Choice, a Redoute's Choice owned by Japanese breeder Katsumi Yoshida. Raging Storm has to
go in and Magic Gaia will make it four picks for this race.
