Quality Road seeks redemption

He's 1/4 on and that's not too good in the value department. Convocation is the only other runner in
single figures - 6/1 and we are going to put Tranquil Manner 15/1 in for value. Mine That Bird hasn't
won since the Kentucky Derby 2009 and has a change of jockey and blinkers, but we want to see a
better run first.
The Forego G1 sees Godolphin with the bracketed horses Vineyard Haven and Girolamo at 2/1 and
then at 4/1 there's Bribon and Big Drama.
On Sunday there's the Spinaway G1 for the 2yo fillies - we like Stopspendingmaria and Schuylerville
winner Le Mi Geaux here.
At Del Mar their 2yof go round in the Debutant where Wickedly Perfect and AZ Warrior reoppose with
the former having the wood on the latter. Maiden winner Avid trained by Richard Mandela will be ridden
by Joel Rosario and don't rule her out.
On Sunday the G2 Del Mar Derby is over 1800m on turf, with the Craig runner Twisting Candy going for
win #4. We will also be watching out for Jairzihno.
