The Prix de la Nonette was the first group race and our favourite Lily of the Valley won this ahead of
Contradanse, who had led for most of the race, with Zagora third. Never Forget was not in it and finished
fifth.

The G1 Prix Morny saw a great win for English raider Dream Ahead, giving jockey William Buick two G1s
on consecutive days on two continents. About 14/1 was the price. Tin Horse ran second and
Pontenuovo third, with favourite Libranno losing his unbeaten status.

The Jean Romanet was a pure romp for Stacelita although Antara was closing on her at the finish and she
would not have wanted the race to be one metre longer. Leader for much of the race Board Meeting held
on to third spot fro Fleur Enchantee.

The Prix Kergolay was anothr close finish between Americain, who got the nod in the end, and Luca
Cumani's Manighar. Favourite Blek was 2 1/2 behind these two for third.
