Listed Winner For Elusive Quality

Friday, 25 July 2008: It was the second win in three starts for the Henry Cecil trained filly, who is from the Seattle Slew mare Honest Lady.

Honest Quality is the third stakes winner for her dam, following Group 3 winning and Group 1 placed First Defence (Unbridled's Song) and Listed winner Phantom Rose (Danzig).

Honest Lady was a Grade 1 winner of the Santa Monica Handicap in the US and is one of four G1 winners for her dam, the El Gran Senor mare Toussaud (a Grade 1 winner herself).

Toussaud's other G1 winners are Chester House (Mr Prospector), Empire Maker (Unbridled) and Chiselling (Woodman). She is also the dam of G2 winner Decarchy (Distant View).
