Khelyf Setting A Hot Pace

Thursday, 31 July 2008: Kheleyf, a Group 3 winning son of Green Destert rom a Mr Prospector mare, has enjoyed a truly outstanding month with 12 winners since the start of July.

Lady Master, a Henry Candy-trained filly, made the running in the five furlong contest at Lingfield and held on to cross the line a neck ahead.

Bred by Diana Du Feu, Lady Master is the first foal out of Sysygy, herself a daughter of four-time winner and Falmouth and Pretty Polly third Theano.

Kheleyf is also sire of G3 winner Percolator, who finished second in lat Saturday's G2 Prix Robert Papin, and stakes-placed duo Sayif and Touching.

Fellow first season sire Sulamani recorded his second winner when his daughter Sulabe took the Premio Amalfi at Tagliacozzo in Italy.
