Ridden by former New Zealand jockey Greg Childs, Zarita (NZ) made short work of her mid-week assignment, giving reason for Childs to predict further Gr.1 glory ahead.

"She is a top quality mare and she can go all the way," Childs reported.

"She is bigger and stronger and she is thriving"

"She certainly appears to have taken that next step."

Zarita (NZ) has been nominated for both the Gr.1 Caulfield and Melbourne Cups this spring.

Trained by Pat Hyland, Zarita (NZ) has won seven of her 12 starts to date, including Gr.1 success in the Australasian Oaks (2000m) and the South Australian Derby (2500m).
