Eclipse Award winners Smarty Jones and Speightstown, Friends Lake, Lion Heart, Medaglia d'Oro and Strong Hope are amon those with fist crops racing this year.
The catalogue also features yearlings by leading sires A.P. Indy, Awesome Again, Cherokee Run, Distorted Humor, Forestry, Fusaichi Pegasus, Giant's Causeway, Grand Slam, Maria's Mon, More Than Ready, Mr. Greeley, Pulpit, Silver Deputy, Smart Strike, Storm Cat, Street Cry, Tale of the Cat, Tiznow, Unbridled's Song, Empire Maker, Harlan's Holiday, Johannesburg, Macho Uno and Vindication.
Fasig-Tipton has announced that the sales company will pay the nomination and entry fees for horses which run in any of the six graded stakes for two-year-olds at Saratoga in 2009 which are sold at this week's sale.
The races covered are the G3 Schuylerville Stakes, G2 Sanford Stakes, G2 Adirondack Stakes, G2 , Saratoga Special, G1 Hopeful Stakes and G1 Spinaway Stakes.
