Perfect Seven For Zenyatta

Monday, 4 August 2008:
Street Cry
Street Cry
A $US60,000 Keeneland September yearling in 2005, Zenyatta's earnings are now just short of the million dollar mark and she is already a dual Grade 1 winner this year.

The four-year-old mare proved too strong for the Giant's Causeway mare Model and Tiznow's daughter Tough Tiz's Sis in the 1700m event at the weekend.

Zenyatta is from the Kris S mare Vertigineux and is a half relation to the triple G1 winning Thunder Gulch runner Balance and fellow stakes winner Where's Bailey (by Aljabr).

She is a member of the Dubai World Cup winner Street Cry's first American crop, which also includes G1 Kentucky Derby hero Street Sense, a first time shuttler to Darley Australia in 2008.

Street Cry was a former shuttler to Australia and his progeny include the highly promising Mark Kavanagh three-year-old Whobegotyou.
