New G1 Winner For Anabaa

Monday, 4 August 2008: Goldikova (ex Born Gold, by Blushing Groom) was previously a Group 3 winner this season, but graduated to the top grade when taking the G1 Prix Rothschild (previously Prix D'Astartre) over 1600m at Deauville.

The Anabaa filly proved too strong for last year's winner, the Champion Zamindar mare Darjina and the Divine Light filly Natagora.

Trainer Freddy Head believes Goldikova has all the attributes of becoming a champion and the filly is yet to miss the place in seven career outings.
