Blue Diamond Support For All American
Wednesday, 20 February 2008: Sportingbet Australia's Michael Sullivan reported sustained support for the colt.
“All American has been backed all the way in from $10 to $7 with Sportingbet Australia, attracting some sizeable bets," Sullivan aid.
"The bets include wagers of $5000 at $10 and $10,000 at $8.
Sullivan said the lack of suppoprt for the filly Believe 'N' Succeed had been another feature of pre-post business.
“Believe N Succeed has been friendless in the betting on the back of her poor barrier draw," he said.
"She drifted from $6 out to $10 yesterday and is now $9.50. There's been barely a nibble for her."
“The favourites Wilander and Exceedingly Good have maintained their place at the top of the betting order in the wake of their ideal draws.
"Their prices have moved in slightly to $5 and $6 respectively."
Chilean Miss came in from $51 to $17 when it was announced that she would be running on Saturday after previously being withdrawn from the betting.
Punter support has pushed her odds in to $14.
